Like the bench on my walk states, “seek His face and know His grace” 10.6 miles / 20lb ruck this morning. God was certainly working overtime with me today. I listened to a podcast that spoke of men and women, relationships and ministry….. I came across this tree and it struck me. The width of the root system…. This is where the trees’ life started. The roots from two different trees found each other- grew straight up, next to one another, supporting one another. I aligned this with friendships, relationships, and conversations Ive had with people that I have the blessing of journeying this life with…. We have the option to dig in and grow into different directions OR grow towards one another, supporting one another, reaching for the Lord – TOGETHER.
Your community is so important. Its what holds u up when the world pushes you down.
When two people are SOLD OUT for the Lord, find one another (in friendship or relationship) – theres no end to the possibilities!!!! How does your community of people around you breathe life into you? Do they make you stronger? Do they hold you accountable? Do they challenge you to live your life according to Gods plan?? Do they bring you closer to God or pull you away from Him?
“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. Let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another…”- Hebrews 10:24-25
